TITLE: DoD Directive 1332.18, "Separation or Retirement for Physical Disability", November 4, 1996
SUMMARY: This Directive reissues DoD Directive 1332.18 dated February 25, 1986 to update policy and responsibilities for separation or retirement for physical disability under Title 10, United States Code and related determinations under Sections 3502, 5532, 6308, and 8332 of Title 5, and Section 104 of Title 26. It establishes policy for processing Active and Reserve component members who have conditions that are cause for referral for physical disability evaluation.
