To reduce the possibility of duplication of effort both within the TTCP and with other 'standardization' organizations, TTCP encourages liaison at all levels. Each Group is required to liaise with the other TTCP Groups and outside agencies that have similar areas of interest. The Washington Deputies each have responsibilities for direct liaison with sister standardization groups at the management level. Liaison is maintained with the organisations listed below, at a triennial meeting held in Washington DC.
Videoconferencing. TTCP and its sister organizations actively promote the use of techniques such as videoconferencing in order to improve efficiency and to reduce travel costs. For example, videoconferencing services are being provided via a bridge site in Canada. The procedures for booking a multinational videoconference are available on the DND videoconferencing web site:
