    Hotel

    • The Workshop will be held at The St. Anthony, San Antonio. The Sheraton Gunter Hotel will handle overflow with blocked rooms for the workshop. When making your reservations at either hotel, please identify yourself as attending a Special Libraries Association meeting in order to get the Workshop rate. We have negotiated contracts for all rooms at both hotels at the prevailing per diem rate---in Dec 2006 that will be the FY07 per diem rate.

      Overlooking Travis Park in downtown San Antonio, The St. Anthony was built in 1909 and offers an historic setting for the historic 50th Military Librarians Workshop.  It is just a stroll away from world-famous attractions like the Riverwalk, the Alamo and the HemisFair Plaza.

      The St. Anthony does not have rooms on Saturday, December 2; Saturday, December 9; and Sunday, December 10.

      • 0930 - 1030   Go to the Gallagher Building across the street for a presentation by Dr. Bruce Winders, historian and curator

      • Only registered attendees and vendor who is sponsoring the trip
      • 0800  - Depart St. Anthony
