The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC),
premier provider of information for the defense community, will
host its 36th annual conference. The conference will address DTIC's
role as the Department of Defense (DoD) technical information
broker. Speakers from government, private industry, and DTIC will
address evolving information technologies.
The conference will bring together information professionals from
the science, technology, research and development, and acquisition
communities who create, disseminate and use DoD scientific, research,
and engineering information.
The conference will also feature a number of government and commercial
exhibitors demonstrating and discussing the latest information
services and technology.
The DTIC 2009 Conference was held April 6-8,
2009 at the Hilton Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia. An outstanding
agenda was presented
supporting the theme "Defense Scientific and Technical Information:
From Discovery to Access."
