The Joint Military Operations Historical Collection (JMOHC) eLearning course is an interactive multimedia presentation based on the JMOHC publications. It presents historical events that illustrate joint doctrine principles in joint force employment. The course and publication complements joint doctrine by teaching primary lessons in planning, deploying, and employing joint military forces as distilled from seven case histories. The JMOHC eLearning course is a publicly available part of the DOCNET online course series which consists of interactive multimedia presentations on key information contained in Joint Doctrine designed to enhance the Joint Doctrine learning experience. The content for each course is drawn directly from doctrine without interpretation and is, therefore, an authoritative information source for use by the Armed Forces of the United States and other Government professionals with a need for knowledge of Joint Doctrine. The goal of these online courses is to "bring Joint Doctrine to life" by presenting the information in a convenient format, employing varied instructional techniques, and taking advantage of the latest interactive multimedia technologies. The courses can be used as an information source for the individual, to supplement Professional Military Education courses, or for college credit for the individual. |
