Abstract : Human cadaveric vertebral bodies offer a unique source of bone marrow for use in research and clinical transplantation protocols. Techniques to enhance maximum cell recovery from this tissue while maintaining a high viability of marrow matrix are constantly under revision. This manual will focus on the techniques utilized primarily at this facility.
