Abstract : The concept of the research was to study the photochemistry of molecules adsorbed on aqueous colloidal clay systems and other model systems related to clays. To this end, the nature of the adsorption of molecules of photochemical interest on colloidal montmorillonite and kaolin clays has been studied. Systems that mimic colloidal clays have also been studied, such as colloidal silica. The date obtained and mechanisms of several photochemical reactions in these systems have been established and are listed in the references.
